About this speaker

Courtney has been a Registered Dietitian for 7 years. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences. She then went on to Des Moines University and got a master’s degree in public health in 2018. She has worked in both clinical and long-term care settings. Her passion is to help pregnant women have fewer diabetes complications in their pregnancy and equip them to recognize the importance of diabetes management even after delivery. She just started a new diabetes educator position with the Norman Regional Diabetes Center. Courtney enjoys running, baking, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
