About this speaker

Jami holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Texas A&M University, where she conducted nutrition and biochemistry research.  After completing a Dietetic Internship at The University of Houston in Texas, Jami became a Registered Dietitian, and developed her clinical expertise in both pediatric and women’s health nutrition.  Jami also earned her Certified Lactation Counselor accreditation from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. 


Jami initially joined Nestlé in 2004, and joined the Medical Scientific and Regulatory Unit in 2007.  She has published a book chapter on early nutrition and long-term health, as well as a publication on the introduction of allergen-containing foods from the Feeding Infants and Toddlers Study (FITS).  She now utilizes her clinical experience and scientific knowledge as a Medical Scientific Liaison to support the Nestlé / Gerber business by collaborating with key opinion leaders, attending professional society meetings and providing support as a subject matter expert in the areas of probiotics, prebiotics, allergy, and breastfeeding.
