Kathleen Garcia-Benson RDN, CSSD, LD

Kat began her career as a clinical dietitian in a large regional hospital while also working with clients at her local gym. This led her into creating a private practice, which is now 100% virtual. Kat helps clients escape the roller coaster dieting cycle, improve their relationship with food, and have empowered, intentional eating habits without cluttering rules & restrictions. As a licensed health professional, she is passionate about promoting clarity on confusing nutrition information and bridging the gap of science and application for physical, mental, and social well-being.

She spends time educating the public on the harms of dieting, diet products, and unethical nutrition-related companies.

She is heavily involved in anti-multi-level marketing activism by serving as admin for many Facebook groups helping people leave MLM as well as encouraging people to report health claims to the FTC and Truth in Advertising. She also creates YouTube videos discussing various MLM companies and debunking product and health claims. Kat was involved in a successful community effort to take down the multi-level marketing company, Black Oxygen Organics in late 2021 - a company selling dirt as a supplement with health claims ranging from curing cancer, diabetes, infertility, and more.
