About this speaker
Mike Schulte, Director of the Oklahoma Wheat Commission, graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agricultural Communications. He has served as the Director of the Oklahoma Wheat Commission for the past 11 years. During his time at the Commission, he has represented Oklahoma as the Chairman of the Phytosanitary committees for US Wheat Associates, working on export guidelines, and currently is serving as Chairman for the Food Aid working group for US Wheat. Mike serves as an ex-officio on the Oklahoma Genetics Incorporated (OGI) board and is on the advisory board of the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program and the Oklahoma Israel Exchange (OKIE) program. He also spends a great amount of time working with the Wheat Foods Council and Home Baking Associations in an advisory capacity promoting the health and wellness benefits of wheat. Mike also farms with his family on a wheat and stocker cattle operation in Central Oklahoma.
